The Chicagoland AGC is the leading trade association serving the Chicagoland commercial construction industry. Chicagoland AGC members include the leading contractors and suppliers in the Chicago area.
Our general contractor members range from large, national firms to smaller, specialized companies and build private and public projects worth more than $12 billion annually while employing over 10,000 individuals.
Mission Statement
Chicagoland Associated General Contractors serves as the unified voice of the Chicagoland construction industry and empowers our members through labor and government relations, ongoing education, and business relationships.

Chicagoland AGC is committed to keeping the building trades workers safe. Safety Forums enable members to learn from experts and share best practices. Our Safety Recognition and Excellence Awards, Safety Alliance with OSHA, and annual industry-wide Stand for Safety Week allows members to show their commitment to safety.
GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
The Association proudly represents the interests of the construction industry by working alongside the Illinois Construction Industry Committee (ICIC) and the AGC of America; monitoring bills introduced at the federal, state, and local levels; supporting construction-friendly bills; and opposing legislation that may adversely affect the industry and our members. The Chicagoland AGC Political Action Committee supports candidates and elected officials who support the concerns of the construction industry and advocate pro-business legislation.
LABOR RELATIONS
Chicagoland AGC staff has in-dept knowledge of the Chicago construction industry and is equipped to handle your labor needs. Our experience can help you through labor difficulties, and our free legal hotline is another way for your company to get answers. Chicagoland AGC has a long history of solving labor problems and serving as a source of information during contract negotiations. We value assisting industry professionals with labor questions.
CONSTRUCTION LEADERSHIP COUNCIL
The Chicagoland AGC's Construction Leadership Council (CLC) is the area's largest group of young construction professionals. The CLC provides opportunities for the industry's emerging leaders to increase involvement through various leadership development programs and philanthropic endeavors.
