Legislative Update May 17, 2024:

This week the Illinois House and Senate were in discussions regarding the state budget, revenue package proposals, Medicaid omnibus bill and other issues important to each of the four caucuses. Next week both chambers will reconvene for what may be the final week of the Spring session. As a reminder the legislature is scheduled to end session on Friday, May 24, 2024, with dates reserved through Friday, May 31, 2024, in the event a budget hasn’t been finalized.

We are tracking legislation that is important to your organization as we have throughout the session.
